The interest groups offered by the club provide an excellent avenue for like-minded members to participate in informal activity groups. They become an opportunity to form friendships and to network. Each group sets its own schedule according to participants' needs. These groups are constantly evolving as members' interests change. Coordinators' contact information can be found in the Club Newsletter sent to each member every month. |

The CFUW craft group meets on the first Thursday of each month at 1p.m. at different members' homes during the months of September through May. |
The dog walking group meets throughout the summer and continues to walk in the Fall and Winter, weather permitting, on Wednesday mornings at 9:30 am. Venues are selected a week in advance. We welcome new members and pooches. |

| The Walking Group | If you want some enjoyable exercise then this is the group for you. |
|
THE WALKING GROUP meets twice a week:
Mondays at 9:30 am at the ECCO Centre on Springfield Rd. for a brisk walk on the Greenway, and Fridays at 9:30 am in the parking lot of the Parkinson Recreation Centre.
Walkers carpool and participate in the cost of the gas if the trailhead is over the bridge or past the airport. There is no need to let anyone know if you CANNOT walk but we're happy to see you if you can! If you decide to go directly to the trailhead it would be appreciated if you would let someone know.
Check your e-mail on Thursday nights in case there are any last minute changes to the schedule or call the coordinators.
We usually have coffee afterwards. Occasionally we are invited to someone's house but there is no obligation to attend as we know people are busy and want to combine other activities with the walk. |
